QUOTE (William L. Shirer)

Standard

This journalist is a true national treasure. He was right; if people had united against the National Socialists, chances are they would not have moved into power. However, several people had been murdered above the powerhouse Hitler, moving him to Chancellor. Hitler was never elected by anyone to his final position. It was a takeover with murder and intrigue.

A DEVOTED LIFE

Shirer“No class or group or party in Germany could escape its share of responsibility for the abandonment of the democratic Republic and the advent of Adolf Hitler. The cardinal error of the Germans who opposed Nazism was their failure to unite against it. ”
~ William L. Shirer
